I hear bodies

Music of bodies. Breaths, brushes, collisions.

The idea of the piece came to me during a silent choreography by Anne Teresa de Keersmaecker. When I saw the dancers performing, I imagined music that could give the illusion of movement, solely through the resulting noise.

String quartet becomes dance, bodies, movement. Noise aspiring to musical sense and poetry.
